Asymmetries in the disturbance compensation methods for the stable and unstable first order plants
The presented interactive tool illustrates dynamical behavior of control structures introduced in the paper "Asymmetries in the disturbance compensation methods for the stable and unstable first order plants" published in Symetry journal in 2020. You can verify the published results and also to try your own parameter settings.
The tool is consists of two parts: the first order systems with neglected delays and the first order time-delayed systems. Since in the first case we present more control schemes their comparison is also offered. In addition, the schemes are also compared to the disturbance observer-based 2DOF control scheme from Zhong and Normey-Rico and to Filtered Smith Predictor inspired structure.
The presentation of introduced block schemes initially starts with some predefined parameters considered in the paper. After the initial simulation user can change any of parameters. Each parameter change causes new simulation that shows new results.
In the case of comparison simulations do not start automatically. They need to be executed by the button "Run". The user can choose what simulation schemes should be included in comparison, set own parameters and just then to start the simulation. There are also offered 2 demo comparisons that were included in the paper. In this case the first simulation starts automatically and all next simulations have to be started by the "Run" button.
